The most climatic, inspirational seven episodes of anime I've ever seen. But wait the series includes thirteen episodes. Oh that's right the last six were pointless and dragged the plot into nothingness. The first seven though I cannot say enough. It inspired me to try and write my own vampire script, it shined light on what any real person would go through as they became a supernatural being. Mad props for the influential new ideas.

Hellsing includes my favorite vampire character, the son of Dracula, Alucard!!! They modernized him and no longer is he sword slicing knight, now he's a cool, calm killer who's very smooth. He also has a good 'taste' in the women. I feel they did his character all too perfectly. He is obviously one of the most powerful vampires in existence but he doesn't kill people rampantly, he saves the human race endlessly.

Celas Victoria, for one she is a very hot, sexy cop. Half of you have now stopped reading and downloaded all the episodes, welcome back. The way they portray her story is very amazing and unique. Each step of the way makes you say, 'Wow I would have done the same!!' I am very impressed at the realism used in such an unrealistic setting. This will all make sense later I didn't want to spoil anything.

The plot line is the average vampire pounding plot. Each side has its ups and downs etc. the important thing is the amazing artistry and unique vampire portrayals. The way they designed the transition phase to becoming a vampire was truthful. If I became a vampire, seeing how I'm the average none aggressive human being, I wouldn't just run around slaughtering the general public, I'd be scared!! What have I become, etc.

I definitely recommend the series to everyone. The first seven episodes are beyond words. The animation is clean and nice. The ideas are new and unique. The plot is climactic and inspirational. The ending is confusing and useless. This series has now got me hooked on vampire anime. The intro song is sick and personally I couldn't think of a better song if I were a vampire. It suits the Alucard character. It's a must see, go rent or buy it now. Tell me if I'm wrong about the ending too.
