Midori-no-hibi aka Midori Days

WARNING: SPOILERS ARE IN THIS REVIEW!!!!!This is got to be my favorite anime, and my best friend's of course. I first saw an advertisement for it in a magazine, then when I went to BestBuy I saw it there, I bought the t-shirt edition, and when I saw the first episode I loved it right away.
My best friend Miki: I love Midori Days. Especially Seiji. Midori days is my favorite!

Seiji Sawamura is known as 'Mad Dog Sawamura' because he beats up gangs using his 'Demon Right Hand', which his older sister Rin, taught him. Even though he may seem, mean and tough, he's nice underneath, and wants a girlfriend. Everytime he asks a girl to be his girlfriend they reject him, and he's at 20 rejections.

Midori Kasugano is a shy girl, who's had a crush on Seiji for three years. She wishes to be with him so much, that she becomes his right hand. She's very happy with the situation, but Seiji isn't too sure about it. For most of the anime, it shows how Seiji is trying to hide Midori, and keep from others finding out. It also shows how they're relationship grows towards each other, and with other characters.

My favorite episodes: After I saw the entire series, I usually skipped the first three episodes, when watching with my friends. My first-on-the-list favorite episode is the fourth one:

Seiji wrecked Midori's clothing, while eating ice-cream, so he has to go buy her new clothes at an anime shop. While browsing, they run into Seiji's freaky otaku classmate, Shuichi Takamizawa. Shuichi thinks that Seiji has a doll fetish, like himself, and tries to make Seiji admit it. Midori keeps trying to gets Seiji's attention by cosplaying in different outfits. Seiji keeps losing his patience, and Shuichi notices something on Seiji's right hand. Shuichi bugs him, until Seiji knocks him out. The next day at school, Seiji meets Shuichi on the school roof, after getting a note from him. Shuichi thinks Midori is a puppet, and shows Seiji his own puppet, Marin. Seiji finally shows Shuichi Midori, who is staying still to be puppet-like, while Shuichi looks her over. Midori accidently sneezes, and Shuichi freaks out, while Seiji scolds Midori. The duo try to leave when Shuichi stops them and asks where she was made. Seiji lies that he made a promise, not to tell, and leaves. For a little bit in the episode, Shuichi stalks Seiji, trying to find the dollmaker's logo on Midori. At the end of the episode, Shuichi calls Seiji to an area, to give Midori a dress, to photograph. Midori's kindness makes Shuichi want her as his girlfriend, and Seiji 'explains' that she is REALLY attached to him. Midori says that she and Shuichi can be friends, which goes over well, until Shuichi tries to make Midori wear a bikini. Seiji once agsin, knocks out Shuichi, but by flipping him over this time. The next day the head injury made Shuichi go into his 'cool' form, as my friend Miki calls it. Shuichi doesn't remember Midori, and doesn't like dolls anymore. Thats the end of the episode.

My other favorite episodes, are ep.5, 8, 9,and 12. Overall this is a wonderful anime, and most anyone would enjoy it. I give it a 5/5. Nya! ^_^
