Serial Experiments Lain

Serial Experiemnts Lain is not an anime for everyone. Let me tell you this if you liked the X-Files you'll probably like it. The plot line is not straight forward and obvious. Your probably thinking what the heck does that mean? It means that to fully understand what actually happened in the cartoon you'd either have to watch it 3 times or be the creator of the cartoon. But I loved the anime because of that!! It allows you to try and figure out the mystery that is Lain's life and use your own imagination instead be handed someone else's idea on a platter.

Lain is a quiet, lonely school girl who's life doesn't consist of too much. She goes to school the one day and everyones freaked out because they have received an email from a girl that had recently killed herself. Lain doesn't seem to shocked by the news and heads home to find to her surprise she had also received an email from the dead girl. From there on the show gets WEIRD!! Episode after episode you learn more and more about the Wired (kind of like the internet but beyond simple text and such). I feel if you are a hardcore gamer or how can I put this politely a "grass loving person" this is for you!!!! While your chilling with your other herb friends and the room's kind of smoky turn on Serial Experiments Lain and allow the trip of the millennium to begin!! Actually I recommend that you don't watch this episode unless you have depleted the earth of a certain amount of green material!! It's confusing either way so what the hey.

Serial Experiments Lain in my mind beats biggies like Gundam and Pokemon because it's a quick treat at 13 episodes and is great imaginative experience!! A definite watch if you like crazy, weird anime!! It's not disgusting or full of gore it's just a really sweet anime!!!

10/10
