I just finished the series yesterday. It's a really fun series to watch. Episodes are rather short, but it still has plenty of story. 24 episodes, 6 per disc, about 15 minutes each episode. It starts off with Nakahito and some friends hearing a rumor about a mad scientist who chops up women and other brutal things in his house. As he is exploring the house, he finds the angel. The angel is deactivated though. The house comes under attack by the military to capture Dr. Ayanokoji and the steel angel. Nakahito trips and ends up kissing Kurumi. She becomes activated and recognizes Nakahito as her master. Dr. Amagi finds Saki, another angel in the house, and she is deactivated. She takes her back to the lab and forcefully activates her. She then sends Saki off to destroy Kurumi. Nakahito is attacked by some friends, who you've seen in the beginning, and Kurumi almost kills them. He tells her she shouldn't fight without a reason. Pretty bad timing because Saki comes and starts beating the hell out of Kurumi. Kurumi refuses to fight because of what Nakahito told her. He finds this out and tells her to fight back. It's a little late though, as saki pins down Kurumi and is about to finish the fight. Unfortunately for Saki, he power runs out just inches from smashing Kurumi's face in.

Kurumi wants Nakahito to activate Saki the same way he did her, but she stops him and does it herself. Saki joins the team. Eventually, Dr. Ayanokoji is kidnapped by Academy and the team sets off to find his hidden lab. On the way, they run into a trio who kidnap Nakahito and Kurumi goes off to rescue him. She is beaten pretty bad because she doesn't want to fight, but that all changes when Nakahito is injured and the demon inside her comes out to fight. After a couple character developement episodes Saki runs off to by cinnamon buns for her and Kurumi. She is attacked by Karinka. Saki isn't much of a challenge and is easily laid to waste. Kurumi goes off to find Saki, and does. Karinka and Kurumi fight, and Nakahito starts to doubt himself as a mystic because he cannot do anything to save Kurumi. Again, the demon eventually comes out in Kurumi, and Karinka runs off after getting beaten pretty bad. Saki is taken to the military base and eventually repaired. Off to find the secret base again. They are met by another angel and she takes them to the secret lab. She explains the reasoning to the angels and other things.

At this point, Nakahito and kidnapped by Academy to get the angels to their base. They explain that the future was attacked by an unknown enemy and the humans called them demonkind. They developed the angels to fight them, but they weren't doing so well. Dr. Ayanokoji invented the angel heart mark II and that had both the power of angels and demons. Academy wants to destroy Kurumi before she becomes a demon herself. Well, their plan wasn't working until Mikhail kissed Nakahito and activated her mark II heart. A rough battle happens between the two and Kurumi becomes a full demon. They try everything they can to stop her, but nothing seems to be working.

Academy hooks all angels to the power reactor and draw their power for a final blast with their weapons. Saki and Karinka also volunteer and have their power drawn. Nakahito refuses to see Kurumi die. As their power is drawn the angels start to die. Nakahito runs out right before Academy fires all there weapons and goes to Kurumi. He awakens her and confesses that he loves her. This awakens the angel within Kurumi and somehow both survive the blast from Academy.

It's a very light hearted series. Plenty of comedy, love, and action. I personally give it a 8 out of 10 because the story could of had alittle more story for the short episodes.

8/10
