What a weird movie...

I really hate to give this movie a bad score. Honestly, I had fun watching Gowcaizer..however, when it comes to its quality as a whole, it has too many small errors that add up to a big one. So this high school student receives a stone of power from his best friend that lets him transform..Why? Where'd it come from? Where'd his friend get it? The principal wants to summon some sort of evil entity..Why? This show just makes..no...sense. I don't think it answered a single question through the whole film.

The movie looks a bit grainy, even though it's well drawn. The voices aren't bad, and I liked the ball boy character (a flying robot loyal to his mistress, Shaia). Some characters were just weird, though..The brother and sister who have an incestual relationship? Don't get me wrong, I have an open mind, but I'd like to at least know how they got that way or see some depth added to it. As it is, they're simply some evil henchman who have a strange relationship. Nothing more.

Plot? Well, from what I gathered, those with stones of power (and a few others who receive power from sources never told) fight to save the world from being brought to decay.

As for this show's good points, I'd have to say the fight scenes. They're actually quite good. There's blood, but it's not the chief agent to make the action work. It's high-octane!

Oh yes..one more VERY noticeable detail needs to be mentioned. Every animator on this project needs to lose their virginity FAST. These girls bounce more than the bastard love child of Tigger and Flubber. For the love of everything holy, no girl bounces that high, and there are no outfits in existance tight enough to clearly point out the exact shape of breasts all the way around.

This idea had so much potential, but the writers seemed to forget that we can't read their minds, and they have to go to extra effort to actually put what they're musing on hardcopy. It's a shame. It could have been so much more.

5/10
