Yes, yes, I know. I jumped ahead.
I will review TPB 4 to 15 in good time, promise!
What's different between here and now and TPB 1-3?
Well as you can see one new Goddess (Skuld) has shown up to live on Earth, and quite abit of time has passed. Keiichi now works at a place called Whirlwind with Belldandy, and their relationship has grown since way back then.

So let's see where thing are now as we take a look.

TPB 16 - Mystery Child
Looks like something is afoot in existence and the almighty is about to make a phone call for assistance.
Urd and Skuld have to return to handle the crisis, and while they're gone it looks like this is the perfect chance for the relationship between Keiichi and Belldandy to grow.

That is unless a little boy shows up to drive a wedge between the two.
Why? Well it seems that he isn't what he appears, and what he's planning may be a tragedy of galactic proportions and all because he sees Belldandy as... his long lost lover? Eh?
You'll have to see it for yourself. Strange goings on.

TPB 17 - Traveler
First off it looks like the Keiichi household's "Welcome bot" is about to become a fully sentient female thanks to the love one of Skuld's robotic creations has for her. Too bad she just doesn't feel the same for him as he does for her. Can these two just get along?!?

Second story concerns the eternal struggle of property storage versus living space as Keiichi's school pals turn his large place into a storage facility... which wouldn't have been so bad if they haven't used one of Skuld's inventions to solve the problem which, in turns, creates nothing but troubles.
Why did they do that? Seems Belldandy let her powers "lapse" without renewing her "license" to be a Goddess and for a week she is going to be powerless... not a good thing since she and Keiichi end up lost in the "space" created by Skuld when Keiichi tries to adjust it to make it bigger and ends up making it infinite.

But all that seems minor in comparison to the bigger "problem" that finds it‘s way into the house‘s tesseract space completely by accident (after Keiichi/Belldandy find a way out of course).
What kind of problem? A big problem the size of a space whale, and one that will litterly blow the house down if it remains in that "space" when it collapses in a few days times...
Good stuff and a fine read.

TPB 18 - The Phantom Racer.
Two stories for the price of one.
First off who or what is the mysterious spirit racer wandering the road at night? Looks like Keiichi and Belldandy are going to be drawn into a race against the supernatural when his sister decides to take on this road spirit and gets in over her head.
Second story concerns the newly sentient "welcome bot" and how she becomes the target of a mad scientist who wants to learn how to make machines walk. Can anyone save her before it's too late and she's dissected in the name of science?

Oh-kay. Breakdown time.

What's Hot?
Of course it's hot! Classic manga and a true essential amongst essentials. One of those series that is a must have in your collection. A long lasting series that is still going strong to this very day, the series is something you must have so you can experience it for yourself. A great read.

What's Not?
Nothing. It's all good.

Moments to Remember?
All the interactions and great fun that happens in these books. Definitely lots to remember here.

What to Ignore?
Somehow the relationship between Keiichi and Belldandy had more intensity in the earlier days (TPB 1-3), yet it's still all good... so, yes, please ignore me.

Overall?
A true classic and a great read. The works of Fujishima has been captivating people for year and years, and this title is no exception as it once again proves how good the talent is and how great the food is.
A truly wondrous classic read. Great stuff.
